From the abacus to the modern computer
has been an extraordinary journey. Take
that journey with us, and meet some great machines. There is the computer that
came as a box of parts that you put together yourself, and Deep Blue, the
computer that could beat the world's best chess player-sometimes. There is Colossus
that saved lives in the Second World War, and mobile phones that have helped
police to catch criminals.
In addition, as well as machines there are people in this story too -
good people and bad, rich and poor, clever and stupid. There is Internet
millionaires who have helped people all over the world - and there are virus
writers who have done terrible damage to computers in dozens of countries.
Come and discover the stories behind the
phone in your pocket, and the computer on your desk.

Chess is a board game for two players. Each player starts with sixteen pieces eight pawns, two nights, two bishops, two rooks, one queen and one king.
The goal of the
game is for each player to try to checkmate the king of the opponent. Checkmate is a threat check to the opposing
king which no move can stop. It ends the game. One player White has
pieces of a light color the other player Black has pieces of a dark color.
There are rules
about how pieces move, and about taking the opponent's pieces off the board. When a king is in
check, and cannot get out of it. A
player may resign at any time, usually, because his or her position is
hopeless. A losing player is able to resign by placing their king on its side
on the chessboard. If the
player's clock time is over exceeding the time control. Strictly speaking, this
is not part of the rules of the game, but part of the rules of tournament and
match chess where chess clocks are used.
The player with
white pieces always makes the first move, Because
of this, White has a small advantage, and wins more often than Black in tournament games.
Chess is popular and is often played in competitions called chess tournaments. It is enjoyed in many countries.

I really like Al-Ittihad club. My favourite team is Al-Ittihad. The full
name for my favourite team is Al-Ittihad Football Club of Jeddah. The club was
founded in the 4th of January 1927. Al-Ittihad has won eight leagues and holds
46 official champions. Al-Ittihad is the oldest club in the Saudi Arabia. There
are most famous players in the club Mohammed Noor, Ahmad Jamil, Hamza Idris,
and Hassan Alyami. The first champion in 1993 his won 3-0. The president for
the club is Ibrahim Al-Balwi. The vice president is Hatim Al-Ghamdi. In my
opinion, the best team in the KSA is Al-Ittihad.
